This is our fourth hotel for the Nadler Group, and in our role as construction partner our involvement started at a very early stage when BHC were appointed to deliver a pre-tender design to meet the Client’s brief, before negotiating the contract sum on an open book basis to meet the Hotel’s requirements.

Discussions were held early on with all the local businesses and Westminster City Council, developing a construction management plan to minimise the effect
of the project upon neighbours in this busy Covent Garden area of central London.

The works involved extensive remodelling, partial demolition and extension of the existing buildings on the site to form a new hotel with the old structures
carefully strengthened and altered to achieve the requirements of a modern, high specification 57 bedroom hotel. This included the repair and refurbishment
of the historic façades and the creation of new elements to complement the existing architecture. These modifications required extensive temporary
works coordinated with detailed surveys to maintain the structural integrity at all times, including party walls.

The fit out to the interior of the hotel was to a very high specification, with rooms benefitting from full air conditioning, bespoke joinery including
kitchenettes, modern en-suite facilities, the latest in in-room media entertainment and circadian lighting.
