Designed to retain the look of the old school office accommodation which had been demolished, the new façades to the extended rear accommodation and classrooms at Abbey Senior School feature modern complementary materials of feature glazing, Sto render and curtain walling. The front elevations incorporate reconstituted stone features to maintain the character of the surrounding buildings.
The classrooms are similar in style to those of the Junior School, with natural ventilation and the latest built-in electronic teaching aids. The administration
wing incorporates enhanced finishes including oak panelling in the second floor conference room.
The school took possession of the building in September to furnish it for use in the second half of the autumn term.
