This six-storey building is sited on a busy corner on Lime Street in the centre of London and our works involved the refurbishment of 43,000ft² of office space.
The external façades were completely removed and replaced with Jura limestone cladding and curtain walling. Internal and external existing asbestos boarding
had to be removed from the columns and cladding under fully controlled conditions.
A new entrance was formed at ground floor level, and the two existing eight-storey lifts were refurbished. The majority of the M&E services were replaced,
with plant rooms at basement and roof level. Internally the cores were stripped back and refurbished.
Disruption was kept to an absolute minimum, with four of the six ground floor retail units continuing trading throughout the works.
