Middle Street

This project was secured by competitive single stage tender, with subsequent further negotiations and value engineering to ensure all the Client’s expectations
could be reached.

This site is situated in a congested part of the City of London, adjacent to Smithfield Market and is sandwiched between two narrow streets. Detailed
negotiations with the City of London and the local residents were necessary to ensure our works caused as little disruption as possible to the
neighbouring residents and businesses.

Works consisted of the demolition of the existing roof structure and replacement with a new feature glazed roof and additional mezzanine floor. 
Internally an existing staircase has been removed creating lightwells to open up the basement into a usable office environment.

The building finishes are to a very high specification including new lift and building services, raised floors, timber feature ceilings, along with
new reception and cyclist shower facilities.
