We are thrilled to be involved in the delivery of 7 Holbein Place, Grosvenor’s flagship sustainable commercial office development in Chelsea.

Grosvenor are at the forefront of the drive for more sustainable property development, and at Holbein Place this goal has been at the core of their decision-making, having a huge influence upon the design. We are fully supportive of these efforts, and we too are constantly looking to improve upon our operational methods, design decisions and material selection to minimise the environmental impact of everything we do.

The works comprise structural alterations and extension, new CLT roof structure, new envelope, M&E installations, and Cat A office finishes including feature Hunter Douglas timber ceilings and Kline painted concrete soffits.

The building is situated adjacent to the London Underground track, a large Thames Water sewer and other construction sites, and Holbein Place itself is a relatively narrow and busy road, all of which necessitates meticulous planning with regards to lifting operations and careful logistics management.

The project is to out-perform other developments with regard to its carbon footprint, and we are working with sustainability advisors Scott, White and Hookins to assist us in attaining both BREEAM and WELL accreditation.
