Blenheim House Construction was delighted to secure this prestigious project for the extension and refurbishment of a Grade II listed building, one of the oldest in London’s west end. The historic building was built in 1886-7 by the Gatti Brothers as the Adelphi Restaurant, and occupies an enviable position next to the Adelphi Theatre, a stone’s throw away from The Savoy and the Waldorf Astoria.

The beautifully ornate front façade was retained and sympathetically renovated to its former glory. Where restoration was no longer possible, replacement
work matched the existing fabric.

A restaurant shell was provided at basement and ground floor levels, converting them back to their original use. The first, second and third floors have
been extended to the rear into a light well, and new roof level extensions has enabled the creation of four luxury apartments, each one completely
unique.

The internal finishes are a mixture of the restored historic and sympathetically designed new elements to deliver classically stylish, high quality, fully
serviced apartments.

The finished building has been named Gatti House, elegantly referencing the building’s impressive history.
