This project was secured through a traditional tender process, and is our first with the Howard de Walden Estate. The project is the redevelopment of the
Howard de Walden Estate’s own Head Office, a building that has been the base for their property portfolio for many years.

The traditional stone façade building is to be remodelled internally, and extended at roof level. Sections of the front façade are to be retained to
allow the structures behind to be removed, a new core constructed, and uniform floor levels established, whilst the rear elevation is extended
to the site boundary and all light wells removed. At roof level, the existing lightweight mansard is to be removed and a new stone extension constructed
sympathetic to the original architecture.

The existing façades are to be renovated and new fenestration to all elevations to restore the building and provide up to date environmental performance.

Internally, the building is to be fully fitted out to a high-quality Cat B standard, with many existing features retained and refurbished, including
staff restaurant, meeting rooms and commuter facilities.

The building is based in the heart of the Harley Street medical area, and particular attention has been given to minimising the impact of our works
on the very sensitive businesses surrounding.
